Boardwalk had great views of the bay. Didn't go to the beach bc out of county resident cost were out of control
Disclaimer***So I’ve never been to this beach during times when there’s a fee, I always happen to go when it’s off season or closed so I can’t speak to how expensive it is****
With the only natural beach in the area, the Bayfront Park provides a beautiful hike to the water. Great for picnics, and families.
This a rather small beach but nice. There usually are only a few people there at a time according to my experience, so not crowded. You can have a nice time there on the water. The admission fees are high considering the size of the Park and amenities, but fees are reduced more for Calvert County residents. I do prefer Calvert Cliffs further south in Calvert County for spending time at the water.
Decided to take the family for some fun at the bay. Cost me $88 dollars for 4 kids and 2 adults because I dont live in Calvert county. Took all the fun out of it for me. I will never go back I am someone who thinks it abit silly to charge people to enjoy the outdoors. I would have spent the money at a local restaurant. Now I doubt I will ever go back to that town.
I don't remember how I came across this beach but I'm so glad I did, this is a quiet beach with trees and cliffs and a nice board walk I'd recommend ppl to take a trip here but just don't let too many ppl find out about it haha just kidding
